Job summary

Aramark Canada is hiring First Cook and Third Cook for the Manic-5 Food Service Operation, with a 14 days on / 14 days off rotation. The roles require preparing meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring consistent food quality in a remote camp setting.

We provide meals, private accommodation, and access to washer and dryer facilities, plus a transportation allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Culinary diploma or equivalent experience is considered an asset.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry.
• MAPAQ certification is considered an asset.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food items in accordance with production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Prepare the daily menu.
• Manage kitchen operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and ordering supplies as required.
• Respond effectively to operational needs and adapt to service priorities.
• Set up workstations with all required ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling food items.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, and colleagues.
• Ensure the quality of food services and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning and maintaining the workstation.
