Job summary

Aramark is seeking Kitchen General Helpers for the Hydro-Québec Manic-3 camp. The role includes a 14 days on/14 days off rotation, with transportation by air from Montréal and Québec City, plus a shuttle from Pessamit and Baie-Comeau. Employees receive meals and private room accommodation, and benefits include group insurance.

Location: Manic-3. Salary: $21.02/hour. Schedule is 70 hours per week; overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a remote camp environment is an asset.
• WHMIS certification is an asset.
• Good physical stamina to lift and carry objects.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, honesty and good judgment.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Wash, transport, and store dishes.
• Maintain the kitchen and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.
• Be able to meet operational requirements.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a positive attitude toward guests, consumers, clients, colleagues, etc.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation programs.
• Follow all applicable safety regulations.
