Job summary

Liferaft is seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join a remote-first team. This hybrid/remote role in Halifax, NS or within Eastern/Atlantic Canada aligns with time zones.

You will drive lead qualification, outreach, and collaboration with Account Executives to convert prospects from campaigns into opportunities. The ideal candidate excels in sales communication, has CRM and marketing automation familiarity, and can work effectively in a fast-paced, metrics-driven

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or similar.
• Hands-on proficiency with diverse sales techniques, including cold calls.
• Track record of achieving sales quotas.
• Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and marketing automation (HubSpot preferred).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
• Contact potential clients via LinkedIn, phone, and email.
• Present our product using provided guides and scripts.
• Qualify clients and identify those ready to view demos and meet an Account Executive.
• Collaborate with marketing to generate new campaign ideas for targeted leads.
• Set up meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives.
• Meet with Account Executives to support prospecting strategy.
• Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
• Stay updated on products, services, competitors and BD tools.
