Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Architectural Intern to join a design studio from Kimberley, Canada, supporting projects remotely and gaining hands‑on experience in design development, documentation, and digital modeling.

You will work with experienced architects, contributing to various stages of the design process and learning through mentorship, with flexible hours and remote access to project files.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Basic understanding of architectural principles and design concepts.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) is a significant advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to team objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, plans, and digital models under guidance.
• Support the team in gathering research on materials, building codes, and design precedents.
• Help maintain project documentation and organization for remote access.
• Contribute to design concept development and visualization tasks as needed.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and learning sessions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support project needs.
