Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions in Toronto is seeking an Intern Architect / Project Assistant to support delivery on a confidential federal government project. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in project delivery, consultant coordination, and project management on a large-scale site.

You’ll work with the Project Manager, coordinate documentation, liaise with consultants and clients, attend meetings, and help manage submissions across all phases.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s in Architecture required.
• Intern Architect with the OAA or recently licensed preferred.
• CA Program / Site Hours completed where applicable.

Location: Toronto, ON (North York) – Full‑Time On Site

Salary: $70,000+ plus benefits (depending on experience)

An established, award‑winning architecture practice is seeking an Intern Architect / Project Assistant to join its Toronto team. This unique opportunity involves working on a confidential, high‑profile federal government project, while gaining hands‑on experience in project delivery, consultant coordination, and project management.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the Project Manager in delivering a confidential federal government project.
• Coordinate architectural documentation, project deliverables, and drawing packages.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to keep information flowing efficiently.
• Assist with RFIs, site instructions, payment documentation, and contract administration.
• Attend project meetings, prepare minutes, and track action items.
• Coordinate project submissions, approvals, and documentation throughout all project phases.

What We're Looking For

• Degree or Master’s in Architecture.
• Intern Architect with the OAA or recently licensed.
• Majority of Canadian Experience (CA) Program / Site Hours already completed.
• 4–8 years’ experience within a Canadian architecture firm.
• Experience on public‑sector, institutional, civic, educational, healthcare, justice, transportation, or government projects is highly preferred.
• Strong Revit, communication, organization, and consultant coordination skills.
• Comfortable working full‑time on site as part of an integrated project team.

This position supports a confidential Government of Canada project.

• Be Canadian Citizens.
• Be eligible to obtain Government of Canada Security Clearance.
• Must not have resided in or visited countries on the Government of Canada’s exclusion list within the past 10 years, including China, Iran, Pakistan, India, or Russia.
