Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking an ambitious Intern Architect / Architect for a Toronto-based, award-winning architecture and design firm. You will work on civic, community, education and institutional projects and pursue professional registration in a fast-paced, design-forward environment.

You’ll develop technical drawings, collaborate with senior architects, and present proposals to clients, with mentorship, a flexible hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 from home), and a clear

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture from a Canadian university.
• Eligible for registration as Intern Architect or Architect with OAA.
• Strong design sense with a portfolio of innovative, sustainable projects.
• Solid knowledge of Canadian building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and deadline-driven work style.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor others.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

What You Bring To The Table

• A degree in architecture from a Canadian university, with 3-7 years of experience in a professional setting as an Intern Architect, Designer, or similar
• Eligible for registration as an Intern Architect or Architect with OAA
• A keen eye for design, with a portfolio that highlights innovative, modern, and sustainable solutions. Public project experience preferred
• Strong technical skills including with Revit, and a solid understanding of Canadian building codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for pushing the boundaries of architectural design.
