Job summary

Outlier is seeking fluent English speakers to help train AI models through live conversations and detailed evaluations. This remote, flexible freelance role offers up to USD 18 per hour, with additional incentives through Missions based on performance.

You will rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity of AI outputs across voice, image, and video tasks, providing written explanations in English that point to observed issues.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and conversational speech.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Able to discuss realistic scenarios clearly and on the fly.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs for issues like distorted anatomy, flickering or mismatched audio.
• Write specific explanations in English describing observations across multiple dimensions.
