Job summary

Outlier is seeking freelance, remote English speakers to help train AI models. You will engage in live conversations with AI voice models, rate outputs for naturalness and clarity, and compare AI-generated images and videos against prompts.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to articulate observations in English, and completing tasks with flexible hours. Prior degrees are welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Comfortable with natural, everyday conversational speech.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to explain observations clearly.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely for issues like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mismatched audio.
• Provide written, evidence-based explanations highlighting what was observed.
