Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented, fluent English speakers to help train AI models via live conversations and scoring. You will rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity, then provide concise English explanations. This freelance, remote role offers flexible hours and a quick onboarding process.

Contributors work on tasks such as ranking AI voice, image, and video outputs and comparing AI-generated media. Prior writing experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
• Bachelor’s degree or above or in progress.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when needed.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness and clarity.
• Rank AI outputs by how well they follow prompts.
• Inspect and replay outputs to spot issues like distortions or mismatches.
• Write specific explanations in English describing observations.
