Job summary

Direct Route Marketing & Design is seeking a part-time, remote Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients across paid media, SEO, web development, social media, and email marketing. You’ll be the day-to-day contact, keeping projects on track and clients happy from kickoff to delivery.

Based in Canada (EST), you’ll coordinate with internal specialists, lead regular client check-ins, translate data into clear insights, and spot opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in account management at a marketing or creative agency.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (paid search/social, SEO, email, web).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Agility. You have the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities without dropping the ball.
• A calm, solutions-oriented approach when things get complicated.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with creative, technical, and strategy teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building trusted, long-term relationships.
• Coordinate with internal teams (paid media, SEO, web dev, social, email) to ensure deliverables are on time and on strategy.
• Independently lead regular client check-ins and client facing performance reviews, translating data into clear, actionable insights.
• Manage project timelines, scopes, and expectations using tools like Productive.io.
• Identify opportunities for account growth where they add real value.
• Troubleshoot issues quickly, from platform access to campaign performance, keeping clients informed every step of the way.
• Draft clear, professional client communications, reports, and recaps.
