Job summary

Toromont Remanufacturing is seeking a Service Advisor in Bradford, ON. You will be the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding remanufacturing components and service jobs, collaborating with planning teams to maintain quotes, timelines, and WIP processing.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service excellence, and the Caterpillar brand, with opportunities across Eastern Canada and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Post-Secondary Education with experience in sales, parts counter or customer service.
Technical aptitude with Caterpillar knowledge preferred.
Customer-centric with a strong sense of urgency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, efficient time-management and effective planning in a deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word and Outlook; DBS/SIS is a plus.
Willingness to accommodate flexible shifts and non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for customer inquiries and service jobs.
Coordinate with production planning and supervisors to meet quotes and timelines.
Manage returns, backorders, and generate purchase orders as needed.
Update inventory systems and track work-in-progress details.
Provide shipping instructions and coordinate special freight moves when required.
Support billing activities and ensure timely follow-up on charges.
