Job summary

Fort William First Nation is seeking a Relief Receptionist to support the administration by answering calls, greeting visitors, and performing general clerical tasks at the front desk.

The on-call position covers the Orion Building, Health Centre, and Social Services as needed. The role includes cash handling, scheduling, and delivering a professional image to clients and partners; training is provided.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • This position will be subject to a criminal records check.

  • Take and record telephone, e-mail, or written message for staff members
  • Receive and record cash receipts.
  • Type forms, letters, reports, and memos as necessary.
  • As a front-line worker, present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other interactions.
  • Monitor office supplies and order as necessary.
  • Observe and report any security issues to Senior Management.

Relief Receptionist (On Call/Casual)

Type: Hourly
Pay: $21.77

Position Description: The Receptionist is responsible for a wide variety of clerical office duties in support of Fort William First Nation (FWFN) administration which includes coordinating and communicating office activities, greeting and screening visitors, answering and referring inbound telephone calls, and scheduling appointments.

  • The Relief Receptionist will cover the front desk at the Orion Building, Health Centre, and Social Services as needed.
  • Training will be provided.
