Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech language assessment of patients' communication abilities.
• Establish diagnosis and develop treatment plans.
• Implement interventions in line with treatment guidelines.
• Collaborate with interprofessional care teams.

Skills

Knowledge of speech language pathology theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care

Effective communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Knowledge of speech and dysphagia diagnostic tests

Education

Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
