Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking a Relief Full Time Speech Language Pathologist in Surrey, BC. The role involves screening, assessment, diagnosis and ongoing intervention for preschool clients within Fraser Health sites, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include planning and recording treatment programs, guiding Speech Language Assistants, and educating families. The position offers competitive benefits and four weeks vacation to start.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of Speech Language Pathology.
• One (1) year recent related clinical experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current active registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC; eligible for CASLPA/BCSLPA.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention and follow-up for clients with hearing and communication disorders.
• Plans and records client treatment programs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provides guidance to Speech Language Assistants and education to patients' families and caregivers.
