• Knowledge of CSHBC standards of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech language assessment of the patient’s communication needs.
• Develops evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Implements interventions in accordance with treatment guidelines.
• Evaluates and documents effectiveness of interventions.

Skills

Knowledge of speech language pathology theory and practice

Ability to communicate effectively

Knowledge of dysphagia assessment

Ability to prioritize workload
