Qualifications
Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHBC).
Knowledge of speech language pathology theory and practice within a patient and family-centered model of care.
Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Provide speech language assessment and diagnoses for patients.
Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessments.
Collaborate with health care teams to ensure effective patient care.
Evaluate and document the effectiveness of interventions.
Skills
Knowledge of speech language pathology theory and practice
Effective communication with patients and caregivers
Ability to teach and provide consultation
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Knowledge of communication and dysphagia tests
Education
