Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking a casual Speech Language Pathologist to support Population & Public Health across Maple Ridge, Tri-Cities, North Surrey, Langley, and surrounding areas. The role involves screening, assessment and intervention for preschool clients with hearing and communication disorders within Fraser Health sites.

Reporting to the Clinical Practice Leader, you’ll develop treatment plans, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and mentor Speech Language Assistants while educating

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of Speech Language Pathology.
• One year of related clinical experience or equivalent.
• Current active registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
• Eligible for CASLPA/BCSLPA membership.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention and follow-up for clients with hearing and communication disorders.
• Plan and record treatment programs with interdisciplinary team collaboration.
• Supervise Speech Language Assistants and educate families and caregivers.
