Job summary

RBC Weyburn is seeking a client-focused Banking Advisor to help clients with everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an RBC ambassador, you’ll deliver personalised service and guide clients through digital banking options to create meaningful experiences.

You will educate clients, demonstrate technology, respond to inquiries, and collaborate with partners to uncover opportunities, build relationships and drive satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course)
• Passion for client-first mindset and success in a target-driven sales environment
• Strong problem-solving and people skills to build relationships
• Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong ethics, and hunger for success
• Digital literacy across devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.)
• Availability to work all open business hours

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with clients in-branch and in the community to uncover needs and identify sales/referral opportunities
• Educate clients and demonstrate technology to deliver a memorable experience, drive sales and retain business
• Respond to client-initiated contact with a full range of financial transactions
• Actively listen and engage clients to understand their needs
• Proactively take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking problems
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize referrals
