Job summary

RBC is seeking a Financial Advisor to attract, nurture, and grow relationships with high-value personal and small business clients. You will deliver proactive, professional advice across everyday banking, investments, and credit, collaborating with RBC partners to address clients’ goals and life events.

You will engage in empathetic client interactions, uncover needs, educate clients, and champion digital enablement while serving through preferred channels.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of proven sales experience in financial services
• Mutual Funds accreditation or equivalent
• Completed DFSA designation (Canada excluding Quebec) or Quebec certificate of achievement for Personal Finance

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate empathy and understand client circumstances in all interactions
• Uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice
• Collaborate with RBC partners to meet clients' personal and business financial needs
• Provide professional advice on credit and investments suitable to client goals
• Promote digital self-serve options while guiding clients to consult in their channel of choice
• Use technology to connect with clients both virtually and face-to-face
• Implement strategies to accelerate new client acquisition and retention
• Coordinate with financial planning, mortgages and business banking experts for tailored guidance
