Job summary

Interior Health Authority in Williams Lake is seeking a relief (temporary) full-time Rehabilitation Assistant to join the Deni House long-term care facility. Working under clinical direction of therapists, you support rehabilitation plans and monitor residents' progress.

This role supports a multidisciplinary team, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 at the Williams Lake site. The position runs until April 2027 or the return of the current incumbent.

Qualifications

• Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client.
• The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing rehabilitative treatment plans.
• Collaborate with therapists to monitor patient progress and adjust activities as directed.
