Job summary

Interior Health in Williams Lake is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant on a relief, full-time basis at Deni House long-term care facility. The assignment is expected to run until April 2027 or the return of the current incumbent.

Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, you will implement rehabilitative plans as part of a multidisciplinary team and help monitor residents’ progression.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 Vehicle License if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs under clinical direction.
• Assist therapists in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.

About the role:

The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.
