Job summary

Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre is seeking a licensed RPN to assess, plan and provide interventions in line with the current Standards of Practice (RPN College of Nurses of Ontario) and hospital goals.

The successful candidate will hold a CNO certificate, CPR and pharmacology credentials, and be prepared to work 12-hour shifts and all sites as assigned; knowledge of First Nation culture and Oji-Cree language is an asset.

Qualifications

• Licensed RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) certification.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Current pharmacology certificate.
• Minimum six months to one year of experience preferred.
• Good communication and interaction with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing interventions as outlined by the RPN Scope of Practice.
• Be available to work all shifts and sites as assigned.
• Work the present 12-hour shift rotation.
• Prioritize and organize patient care.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.

Job Summary:

The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre is seeking a licensed RPN who is responsible to assess, plan & provide interventions, utilizing the current Standards of Practice (RPN college of Nurses of Ontario), in accordance with the hospital goals and objectives, for assigned patients.

Qualifications:

• Current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario, as a licensed Registered Practical Nurse required
• Current Basic CPR certificate required
• Current pharmacology certificate required
• Minimum six (6) months to one (1) year experience preferred
• Good communication, interaction with staff and residents

Job Duties:

• Ability to provide appropriate nursing interventions as outlined by the College of Nurses RPN Scope of Practice
• Must be available to work all shifts and sites as assigned
• Must be willing to work the present 12-hour shift rotation
• Ability to prioritize and organize
• Ability to communicate and deal with others effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Regular and sustained attendance is essential for this position
