Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse in Brampton to provide nursing care aligned with the resident plan of care. You will work within a supportive team to deliver high-quality personal care and ensure residents’ wellbeing.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the role involves supervising PSWs, coordinating admissions and changes in status, and maintaining compassionate communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Experience in geriatrics or senior health is an asset.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Vulnerable Sector Check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to policy, physician orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an RPN/LPN.
• Deliver excellent nursing and personal care using sound nursing practice principles.
• Create a welcoming and supportive environment for residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff.
• Overseeing resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and providing guidance to staff.
• Supervise the Personal Support Workers/Unregulated team members assigned to the unit.
• Admission, readmission, and change in status, and provide ongoing assessment to the residents.

• You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit
