Job summary

CareRx Corporation is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy team supporting a group of long-term care homes and retirement communities. You will assist in safe and efficient drug distribution across multiple facilities, focusing on geriatrics, palliative care, and mental health medications.

You will perform final checks for compounding, compliance packaging, and prescription fulfillment while maintaining data accuracy in eMAR and Kroll.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in Saskatchewan.
• Experience in retail, community, or long-term care pharmacy preferred.
• Demonstrated computer or word processing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Staff Pharmacist with the preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions.
• Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic.
• Gather and ensure completeness of all necessary information.
• Confirm data entry accuracy in eMAR and Kroll.
• Confirm accuracy of pharmaceutical products and ensure final checks are completed for accuracy prior to their release.
• Maintaining confidentiality and a clean pharmacy environment.

Role Accountabilities

• Ensuring accurate documentation, maintaining confidentiality, adhering to ethical standards, and contributing to a clean pharmacy environment
• Other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring to The Team

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Saskatchewan
• Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems in a long-term care setting is a strong asset
• Retail/Community/ Long Term Care Pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated computer or work processing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation Range

Actual pay rate will be based on the individual candidate's credentials and experience.

Location

This is on-site role at our 1148 Dorothy Street, Regina and follows a five-day work week with participation in on-call rotation for weekends.
