Job summary

Winnipeg Regional Health Authority is hiring a Registered Nurse (N2) for the AS6 Medicine Clinical Teaching Unit in Winnipeg. The position is 0.70 FTE with in-person work, typically 7.75 hours daily, scheduled as ASAP start and open until filled.

Position Overview

Experience

• Two (2) years recent acute medicine or cardiology or CSIU or emergency nursing experience required.
• Nurses currently working on the unit will be deemed qualified.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Successful completion of the Cardiac Rhythms Course when the opportunity to take the course is scheduled by the employer, or as otherwise mutually agreed to between the nurse and employer.

Certification/Licensure/Registration

• CRNM registration required.
• Active participating in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
• ANNUAL BLS LEVEL C REGISTRATION/RE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Qualifications and Skills

• Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
