Job summary

Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the CNF Emergency in Grand Falls-Windsor on a temporary full-time basis (approximately one year). The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department, focusing on person- and family-centered care while promoting safety in partnership with the care team.

Requirements include current ARNNL registration, ACLS, BLS, PALS and CTAS certifications where possible, plus two years of nursing

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador.
• Current ACLS.
• Current BLS certification for health care providers from the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
• Two years of nursing experience.
• Completion of the Health Assessment course or willingness to complete next available course.
• Current PALS and CTAS certification or be willing to complete next available courses.
• Consistent demonstration of NLHS core values; ICARE (Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect and Excellence).
• A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
• A satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority.
