Job summary

CBI Health in Ottawa—with clinics at St. Laurent and Kanata Edgewater—seeks a Registered Massage Therapist. Work as an independent contractor or employee with part-time or full-time options, building your practice within a supported rehabilitation setting.

You will perform assessments, contribute to a multidisciplinary team, communicate treatment goals, and maintain accurate records while delivering evidence-based care to clients.

Qualifications

• Registration in good standing with the CMTO is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
• Experience as a massage therapist is an asset.
• Flexible hours and clinic-based work are available.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Massage Therapist based at our Ottawa St Laurent or Kanata Edgewater clinic, you’ll have ample opportunity to build and grow your massage therapy business as an independent contractor in a well-supported rehabilitation setting.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Perform assessments and treat clients who are referred directly for massage therapy
• Contribute to a team that provides massage therapy to clients as part of their overall rehabilitation
• Communicates goals and expectations of the treatment to the clients and the rest of the treatment team
• Maintains records of massage therapy assessments and treatment notes

What you need to be successful

• Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) or equivalent
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• The ability to facilitate our clients' needs by exceeding their expectations.
• Relevant experience is a definite an asset.
