Job summary

CBI Health Group in Peterborough, ON is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. You will work at our Peterborough clinic and have the opportunity to grow your massage therapy services as an independent contractor or employee.

The role offers flexible hours and strong administrative support to let you focus on patient care, with a supportive clinic environment and access to secure electronic charting.

Qualifications

• CMTO registration in good standing or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and treat clients referred for massage therapy.
• Contribute to a rehabilitation team providing massage therapy as part of overall care.
• Communicate goals and expectations of treatment to clients and team.
• Maintain records of assessments and treatment notes.

If so, CBI Health has a great opportunity for you to work with our interdisciplinary team! As a Registered Massage Therapist based at our Peterborough clinic, you’ll have ample opportunity to build and grow your massage therapy business as an independent contractor in a well-supported rehabilitation setting.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Perform assessments and treat clients who are referred directly for massage therapy
• Contribute to a team that provides massage therapy to clients as part of their overall rehabilitation
• Communicates goals and expectations of the treatment to the clients and the rest of the treatment team
• Maintains records of massage therapy assessments and treatment notes

What you need to be successful

• Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) or equivalent
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• The ability to facilitate our clients' needs by exceeding their expectations.
• Relevant experience is a definite an asset.
