Job summary

CBI Health is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist at the Burlington Health Centre to grow your practice as an independent contractor within a supportive rehabilitation setting.

You will assess and treat clients, maintain records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team while enjoying flexible hours and strong administrative support from a leader in community healthcare.

Qualifications

• Registration with CMTO or equivalent is required.
• A strong client-centered approach and the ability to work independently.
• Experience in massage therapy within a rehabilitation setting is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and treat clients referred for massage therapy.
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitation services.
• Explain goals and treatment plans to clients and the team.
• Maintain accurate massage therapy documentation and records.

About This Opportunity

Are you looking to build your practice alongside a company that supports innovative, evidence‑based approaches to rehabilitation? If so, CBI Health has a great opportunity for you to work with our interdisciplinary team! As a Registered Massage Therapist based at our Burlington Health Centre, you’ll have ample opportunity to build and grow your massage therapy business as an independent contractor in a well‑supported rehabilitation setting.

Fee split: 65%–70%

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

• Perform assessments and treat clients who are referred directly for massage therapy
• Contribute to a team that provides massage therapy to clients as part of their overall rehabilitation
• Communicates goals and expectations of the treatment to the clients and the rest of the treatment team
• Maintains records of massage therapy assessments and treatment notes

What You Need To Be Successful

• Registration in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) or equivalent
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• The ability to facilitate our clients' needs by exceeding their expectations.
• Relevant experience is a definite an asset.
