Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Registered Dietitian for the St. Thomas and Elgin County area on a part-time/casual basis. You will assess nutrition needs, develop care plans, and meet clients in their homes to support independent living.

The role requires registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, experience with the elderly, and a valid Ontario driver’s license. A flexible schedule and collaborative team environment are offered as part of our total rewards program.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences, or graduate from Dietitian degree or equivalent.
• Current active registration in good standing as a dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
• Experience working with the elderly.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and use of a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ nutrition needs and develop treatment plans.
• Meet clients in their own environment and build relationships.
• Use a systematic approach to develop, implement, and evaluate nutrition care plans.
• Manage time and workload and ensure proper documentation.
• Be open to flexible scheduling and adaptable work environment.
• Interest in expanding knowledge in enteral nutrition and clinical nutrition support.
