Job summary

Extendicare is looking for a Registered Dietitian to translate medical nutrition info into practical meal plans for patients and families in Ontario. You’ll support pediatrics in home or school contexts, with care in residential or institutional settings and referrals from agencies.

You must hold provincial licensure, with pediatric experience as an asset. Favourable certifications include VPS screening and current First Aid/CPR. Competitive total rewards and accessible process offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with provincial license (Ontario) in good standing.
• Pediatric experience is an asset.
• First Aid/CPR certified within the last 12 months.
• Vulnerable Position Screening (VPS) current.

Responsibilities

• Determine nutritional needs and plan, implement, and evaluate normal and therapeutic menus.
• Aid in the prevention and/or treatment of inadequate nutrition.
• Maintain client records in line with ParaMed/Extendicare policies.

Client groups receiving your treatment may include Pediatrics for in home or school services and/or Adults with medical/health concerns.
