Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Registered Dietitian to translate medical and nutrition information into practical meal plans for patients in residential or institutional settings. Role includes pediatric and adult care with in-home or school visits, and referrals from multiple sources.

You will assess nutritional needs, plan therapeutic menus, and maintain compliant client records while following regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Registration/licensing with provincial regulatory college in good standing (College of Dietitians in Ontario).
  • Experience with pediatric clients is an asset.
  • Current certification (within the past 12 months) of First Aid and CPR (Canada).
  • Ability to provide VPS clearance (Vulnerable Position Screening).

Responsibilities

  • Determine nutritional needs of patients and plan, implement, and evaluate normal and therapeutic menus to maintain and enhance general health.
  • Aid in the prevention and/or treatment of inadequate nutrition.
  • Maintain professional client records related to client encounters and plans in compliance with policies and standards.
