Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Elliott Lake, Ontario to provide in-home community nursing care. The role involves scheduled visits to patients in various settings, delivering care to diverse ages with varying care needs, and helping patients remain at home safely.

Part-time scheduling includes every other weekend off, with on-call coverage after hours. A valid CNO RN registration, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the CNO as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area.
• Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs.
