Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide in-home community care in Elliot Lake, Ontario. You will visit patients across ages, assess needs, implement and monitor care plans, while building trusted relationships. Travel within designated areas is required, with on-call coverage to ensure patient safety.

The role offers autonomy, supportive teams, and extensive training. A valid CNO RN license, a driver's license and vehicle access are required, with benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with CNO in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience delivering community care is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel to patient residences within a designated area.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients using appropriate tools and techniques to determine individualized needs.
  • Execute and monitor care plans continuously.
  • Engage patients through collaborative rapport-building.
  • Maintain and update professional patient records related to encounters and plans.
