Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a Registered Care Aide (RCA) in the Vancouver area to join our in‑home care team. You will support seniors and adults at home, following the health care plan and assisting with ADLs/IADLs to promote independence.

We offer paid training, competitive pay starting at $23.00 per hour, and a friendly, team‑oriented environment. Access to transportation reimbursement and flexible start dates are provided where possible.

Qualifications

• HCA certificate and BC Registry Number are required.
• First Aid and CPR training is expected.
• Weekend/evening availability is a must.
• A valid driver's license and own vehicle are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team.
• Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation.
• Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with ADLs and IADLs.
• Assist clients with bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting.
• Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping, laundry, etc.
• Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care.
• Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings

• Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings
