Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a Registered Care Aide (RCA) to service clients in the Vancouver area. You will deliver in-home care and support alongside a health care team, promoting independence in daily living activities and personal care.

Ideal candidates hold an HCA certificate with BC registry, current First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license. Weekend/evening availability is required, and reliable transportation helps ensure client coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team
• Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation
• Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with ADLs and IADLs
• Assist clients with bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
• Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries, laundry etc
• Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care
• Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
• Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings

As a Caregiver you will make a difference in your clients lives by:

• Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting

• Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care
• Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
• Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings
