Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Langley is seeking a Registered Care Aide to provide in-home support for seniors and adults needing help and companionship. You will assist with ADLs, observe changes, and collaborate with the care team to maximize client independence.

We offer competitive pay starting at $23 per hour, paid training, a friendly team environment, and travel reimbursement. Flexible start dates and meaningful client relationships are also provided.

Qualifications

• HCA Certificate and BC Registry Number required.
• Current First Aid and CPR training required.
• Criminal Record Check required.
• Driver's license and own vehicle is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering client care and home support under health care team guidance.
• Observe and report changes in client condition.
• Collaborate with health care team, clients, and caregivers to promote independence in ADLs/IADLs.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, feeding, and toileting.
• Support household tasks such as meal prep, shopping, and laundry.
• Encourage and engage clients in their care.

Comfort Keepers is looking for a Registered Care Aide (RCA) available for the Langley area to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.

As a Caregiveryou will make a difference in your clients lives by:

• Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team.
• Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation.
• Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
• Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc.
• Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care.
• Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings

Job Requirements:

• Driver's License and own vehicle is a bonus!

Our office serves seniors in Vancouver and surrounding communities, including Richmond, Vancouver. This position may require travel to those areas – we do our best to match you with clients in your area.
