Job summary

Brandt is seeking a Territory Manager - Material Handling in Peterborough, ON to drive sales of forklift and related equipment across the assigned territory. You will travel extensively to cover current and prospective locations and actively grow our customer base with strategic account management.

The role requires strong communications, planning, and travel readiness, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to grow sales in a defined territory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organizational and time management capabilities.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess a valid passport and be available to travel internationally.
• Familiarity with the Material Handling industry and equipment.
• Bilingual English/French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used material handling equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
• Travel the entire AOR to cover current and prospect locations.
• Grow the customer base by expanding existing relationships and acquiring new customers.
• Identify Key Strategic Customers and execute growth plans.
• Build relationships and stay informed on customers’ business activities and needs.
• Prepare and maintain customer status reports and sales documentation.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
• Maintain current product knowledge and competitive market awareness.
