Brandt Tractor Ltd. is seeking a Territory Manager-Material Handling for the Brossard location.

The TM will develop customer relationships, drive sales of forklift and related equipment in the defined AOR, and travel extensively to cover current and prospect locations. Ideal candidates will have proven sales growth in defined territories, industry knowledge in material handling, and the ability to travel and communicate effectively in English and French.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to grow sales in a defined territory.
• Experience in the Material Handling industry or related equipment/services.
• Willingness to travel and hold a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to travel extensively within the AOR and internationally when needed.

Responsibilities

• Sell new and used material handling equipment within the designated AOR.
• Travel the AOR to cover current and prospective locations.
• Grow the customer base by expanding existing relationships and acquiring new customers; identify key strategic customers and execute growth plans.
• Maintain up-to-date customer status reports including sales activities and customer lists.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for the AOR.
• Keep product knowledge current and stay informed on industry models.
• Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage travel requirements and expenses promptly.

Brandt Tractor Ltd. is currently seeking a Territory Manager-Material Handling for our Brossard location.

The Territory Manager – Material Handling role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growing of Customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR) with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods. A successful Territory Manager (TM) will drive sales of forklift and/or other material handling equipment in their assigned territory. This role will be very influential in the overall growth of Brandt Material Handling business within the assigned territory.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Sell both New and Used material handling equipment within the designated AOR.
• Travel the AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
• Be fully engaged in growing our customer base by:
  • Growing our share of our existing customer base's
  • Acquiring new customers
  • Identifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan
  • Building relationships
• Keep current on customers' business activities and changing needs.
• Prepare and maintain customer status reports including (but not limited to):
  • Sales call activities
  • Customer Lists (both current and prospect accounts)
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
• Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
• Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.

• Must be familiar with the Material Handling industry, having spent some time working in or servicing it.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Must be able to travel throughout the AOR.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license (a recent driver's abstract will be required).
• Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally.
• Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset
