Brandt Group of Companies in Peterborough, ON is seeking a Territory Manager - Material Handling to drive sales of forklift and related equipment within the assigned territory. You will implement and achieve sales and marketing plans, build customer relationships, and travel across the AOR to cover locations.

The ideal candidate brings proven territory sales success, knowledge of material handling, strong communication, planning, and willingness to travel internationally if needed.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, energetic, and goal driven.
• Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory.
• Familiar with the Material Handling industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout the AOR.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally.
• Bilingual English and French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Sell New and Used material handling equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
• Travel entire AOR to cover all current and prospect-account locations.
• Grow our customer base by increasing share of existing customers and acquiring new ones; identify key strategic customers and build relationships.
• Keep current on customers’ business activities and changing needs.
• Prepare and maintain customer status reports including sales calls and customer lists.
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
• Maintain current knowledge of products and industry models.
• Complete all sales documentation timely and accurately.
• Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.
• Other projects/duties as required.

Brandt is currently looking for a Territory Manager - Material Handling in our Peterborough location. The Territory Manager will be responsible for the implementation and achievement of all the overall sales and marketing plans for the assigned territory targets. The Territory Manager role will drive sales of forklift and/or other material handling equipment in their assigned territory. This role will be very influential in the overall growth of Brandt Material Handling business within the assigned territory.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• T Sell both New and Used material handling equipment within the designated Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
• Travel entire AOR to effectively cover all current and prospect-account locations.
• Be fully engaged with growing our customer base by:
• Growing our share of our existing customer base’s
• Acquiring new customers
• Identifying Key Strategic Customers (existing & new), and executing a growth plan
• Building relationships
• Keep current on customers’ business activities and changing needs.
• Prepare and maintain customer status reports including (but not limited to):
• Sales call activities
• Customer Lists (both current and prospect accounts)
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for your AOR.
• Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
• Complete all sales documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage travel requirements and expenses in a timely manner.
• Other projects/duties as required.

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (a recent driver’s abstract will be required).
• Must possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally.
• Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
