Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd. in Ottawa is seeking a Territory Manager - Material Handling to drive sales of forklift and other material handling equipment within the defined AOR.

The role involves traveling across the territory, growing our customer base, and developing strategic growth plans with current and new clients. The successful candidate will maintain up-to-date product knowledge, build strong relationships, and manage sales documentation and travel expenses efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and grow sales in a defined territory.
• Familiarity with the Material Handling industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Willingness to travel across the AOR and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Sell New and Used material handling equipment within the designated AOR.
• Travel the AOR to cover current and prospect accounts.
• Grow customer base by expanding existing relationships and acquiring new customers.
• Identify Key Strategic Customers and execute growth plans.
• Maintain customer status reports (sales activities, lists).
• Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies for the AOR.
• Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends.
• Complete sales documentation timely and accurately.
• Manage travel requirements and expenses.
