Job summary

Gescan, a Sonepar group member, is seeking a regional sales leader to drive growth across a defined territory in Canada. Based in Edmonton or Calgary, you will coach branch teams, manage pricing, and deliver compelling client proposals to achieve revenue and margin goals.

You bring 7–10 years in distribution with 3–5 years in management, a business diploma, and strong MS Office skills. Travel up to 50% is expected as you build strategic customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of related experience within distribution.
• 3–5 years of management experience with a track record of developing teams.
• College/University Diploma in Business or related field.
• Industry knowledge and travel up to 50%.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead within the assigned region to meet annual sales and margin targets.
• Coach and develop direct reports and drive branch-level performance.
• Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with corporate goals.
• Own P&L results for the region and manage pricing strategies.
• Deliver sales presentations and negotiate contracts with key clients.
