Job summary

Dollarama seeks a District Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of 10 to 18 stores, reporting to the Director of Operations. You will lead store managers, develop staff, manage merchandising, recruitment and training, and handle openings and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of retail management experience.
• At least 4 years as a Store Manager.
• Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all operational activities of the territory through store managers.
• Build and recruit a strong team capable of achieving objectives.
• Execute Dollarama programs and those of its suppliers.
• Recruitment, performance management and retention of store employees.
• Travel within territory for store visits, projects or meetings.
• Maximize store resources and ensure products are on shelves.
• Track performance indicators related to loss prevention, sales and ops.
• Apply best practices and company's programs for success.
• Convey company values re respect, profitability, growth.
• Open new stores.
