Job summary

Congebec Inc. is seeking a Regional People & Culture Leader to partner with operations across Alberta, including Calgary warehouses. This hands-on role manages recruitment, employee relations, coaching, policy development and organizational initiatives to support business success.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive HR experience in generalist or business partner roles.
• Experience supporting operational leaders in multi-site environments.
• Strong expertise in employee relations, performance management, recruitment and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary People & Culture partner for assigned operations, guiding employees and managers on people matters.
• Build trusted relationships with operational leaders on ER, PM, workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development and organizational effectiveness.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for various roles and levels.
• Coach leaders to manage performance, attendance, workplace conflict, investigations, disciplinary matters, and development.
• Blend business objectives with legislative requirements and company values in policies and programs.
• Support change initiatives and implement People & Culture programs across the organization.
• Lead national P&C initiatives to strengthen leadership and employee experience.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and development to align with strategic objectives.
• Manage leaves, accommodation requests, workers' compensation, and related ER matters.
• Support engagement, recognition, and communication to foster a high-performing culture.
