Job summary

Congebec Inc. seeks a Regional People & Culture Leader to partner with operations across several warehouses in Canada. You will manage day-to-day HR activities, coach leaders, and drive people initiatives that align with business goals and compliance.

You will lead recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development while collaborating with leaders to strengthen teams and cultural health in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or business partner role.
• Experience supporting operational leaders in fast-paced, multi-site environments.
• CHRP designation is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary People & Culture partner for assigned operations, guiding employees and leaders on a broad range of people matters.
• Build relationships with operational leaders and advise on employee relations, performance, workforce planning, recruitment, and leadership development.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for operational, professional, technical, and leadership roles.
• Coach leaders to improve performance, attendance, workplace conflict, investigations, disciplinary matters, and development.
• Provide practical recommendations aligning business goals with employee experience and legislative requirements.
• Support organizational change initiatives and implement People & Culture programs.
• Lead national P&C initiatives to strengthen leadership capacity and employee experience.
• Develop and review HR policies, procedures, and programs ensuring compliance with legislation and best practices.
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and development aligned with strategic objectives.
• Manage leaves, accommodation requests, workers' compensation, and other employee relations matters.
• Support engagement, recognition, and communication to foster a positive workplace culture.
