Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Regional Operations Manager in Canada to lead a team of Technicians across regions, driving engagement and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of work orders. You will develop processes, monitor safety and regulatory compliance, and coach staff while coordinating with dispatch and CMMS teams.

The role requires 5–10 years in trades operations with supervisory experience; a community college diploma or equivalent and relevant licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of trades operations work experience, with at least 5 years in supervisory/management roles.
• Community college diploma or equivalent training (e.g. RPA, CET) required.
• In-depth knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and current awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of Technicians across regions.
• Leads employee engagement, development, performance management, hiring and retention.
• Ensures health and safety standards compliance.
• Reviews and implements processes and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborates with Dispatch/CMMS for service delivery and project completion.
• Drives cost control, labor loading and efficiency.
• Provides technical support and mentorship to Technicians.
• Investigates and resolves operational issues.
