Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Regional Class AZ Tanker Driver to operate a tractor-trailer tanker from Breslau, ON, with cross-border trips to U.S. sites. The role is union, full-time and requires traveling 2–3 days per week, with a union hourly wage of $35.26 and overtime potential.

Health benefits begin after 30 days of full-time employment, with RRSP eligibility after three months and company-paid training. Must have passport and tanker experience.

• Must have Class AZ CDL and TDG/Tanker endorsements
• Ability to travel cross border to the US
• Able to drive a manual transmission and lift 50 lbs or more

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Transports re-refined and used motor oil to customer and Safety-Kleen locations, utilizing a tractor-trailer tanker unit
• Collects fuel loads and water materials from Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen branches and transports to our Safety-Kleen recycle center
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

M-F Approx. 55-60 hours a week wage $35.26. MUST HAVE PASSPORT/ FAST CARD & LIQUID TANKER EXPERIENCE.

• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
• Ability to drive a manual transmission (10, 13, 18 speed)
• Valid Canadian Passport
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
• Must be willing to perform trips cross border to the US
