Job summary

Canada Cartage in Ontario and Quebec is seeking dependable AZ tanker drivers to join our transportation team. This full-time position offers a Tuesday to Friday shift, varying start times, and the opportunity to represent a respected, safety‑focused company while delivering across the region.

You will operate tanker equipment, complete deliveries, and maintain accurate logs and documents, with emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ driver's license.
• Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract.
• Verifiable recent commercial driving experience (past 3 months to 1 year).
• Experience driving in winter conditions.
• Ability to accurately complete eLogs and delivery documentation.
• Strong customer service and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across Ontario and Quebec.
• Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within the Ontario and Quebec region in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Operate tanker equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Transport hazardous products such as CO₂ or cryogenic gases in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; promptly report issues.
• Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports.
• Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures.
• Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required

Core Requirements

• Valid AZ driver's license
• Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada
• Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract
• Verifiable recent commercial driving experience (within the past 3 months to 1 year)
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement
• Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions
• Ability to accurately complete eLogs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach

Role-Specific Requirements

• Minimum 1 years of verifiable tanker experience
• Minimum 3 years of verifiable AZ Driving experience
• Experience transporting hazardous or regulated products
