Job summary

Fuze HR Solutions is seeking a skilled Millwright in Richmond, BC, to install and align machinery, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical issues to keep production running smoothly.

You will maintain pumps, engines, and compressors, service piping systems, and mentor junior mechanics while promoting safety and Quality. This is a full-time position with a competitive wage and benefits.

Qualifications

• Red Seal certification required (Millwright/Heavy Duty).
• 4+ years hands-on mechanical maintenance and repair experience.
• Proficient in machine fitting, welding, pipefitting and precision tools.
• Knowledge of large pump and engine systems.
• Able to read blueprints and use hand and power tools.
• Safety-focused with experience following WorkSafe BC rules.
• Valid BC driver's license and reliable tool set.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install and align machinery and equipment with precision.
• Maintain, repair, and overhaul equipment including engines, generators, compressors, pumps, grinders, and turbines.
• Service valves, meters, and piping systems across the region.
• Keep conveyor systems running—chains, sprockets, drives, and compressors.
• Maintain internal combustion engines and track service records.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and take corrective action.
• Mentor junior mechanics and share knowledge with Operators.
• Assist with layout work and minor welding; maintain parts records.
• Step in for supervisor when needed and uphold safety policies.
