Job summary

Amrize Canada is seeking a ticketed Red Seal Millwright to maintain and optimize mechanical operations at two asphalt plants in Langley and Richmond. The role requires night/weekend readiness to minimize downtime and a high standard of safety.

You’ll collaborate with maintenance teams to service heavy equipment and ensure reliable plant performance. The position offers Monday–Friday day shifts (6:30 AM–3:00 PM) with overtime flexibility, competitive CAD hourly pay up to 50.22, and comprehensive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Journeyperson/Red Seal certification as an Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) or active apprenticeship.
• Electrical aptitude or welding training is preferred.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required.
• Heavy industrial maintenance experience is expected (2–5 years).

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, preventive, and breakdown maintenance on heavy asphalt equipment to maximize uptime.
• Service and repair pugmills, burners, drums, silos and baghouse dust collection systems.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, screens, gearboxes, crushers and related components.
• Weld, fabricate and rig components as needed.
• Respond to outages during nights and weekends to restore operations.
• Troubleshoot root causes and implement durable solutions.
• Keep PM software/CMMS records up to date for two plants.
• Work at Langley and Richmond asphalt plants as needed.
